A crowd pleaser of any age. Another catering recipe for 20 people.


Recipe serves 20.
- 24 chicken legs
- 1lite salt reduced chicken stock
- 2tb Brown sugar
- 1/4cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4cup Malt vinegar
- 1/4cup Apple Cider Vinegat
- 2 1/4cup kecap manis (*Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
- 4 red onion
- 15 Bay leaf
- 9 black peppercorn
- 18 cloves garlic crushed
- Water to cover.
Method:
- It is very hard to get true adobo recipes as they are very guarded but my friend gave this to me from her fillippino In-laws. yes you do need each qty of everything listed above.
- Everything is put into slow cooker. Cook on low for 4hrs or high for 2hrs.
- Serve with 1/2 qty of the sauce after its cooked and steamed rice
