This was a experiment in plating. Same food 3 different meals .

Serves 1

  • 100g Roast Pork with crackling
  • 1/2 cup zucchini
  • 1 slice pumpkin
  • 6 green beans
  • 1tb mint sauce
  • Option: 1/2 apple sliced.

Method

  • Pork was bought at takeaway. 
  • Pumpkin was precooked a fewcdays ago. It was baked in oven 180*c for 40min min. Plate 1 make balls with melon baller or round measuring spoon.  Plate 2: mound down middle.  Flatten sides into rectangle with pallet knife. Plate 3: semicircle/half moon shape on plate.
  • Zucchini and beans were not cooked until plate was reheated in microwave at serving time for 3 minutes. Zucchini was cut into thick strip then cut into diamond by cutting ends on angle.
  • Mint sauce was drizzled on the side of the pork at plate up.
  • If using apple, cut into thin slices. Plate 2: fan it out. Plate 3: fill in gap between pumpkin and pork. All facing same direction skin side up.
  • Plate up as shown.
  • Enjoy
