We would also do muffins with different vegetables.

Another idea was to make faces out of the vegetables and fruit. The grand kids loved this. It was a play with your food activity.

A third way to get kids to eat vegetables is to let them grow them.

Easy starters are

Pot with soil about 3/4 full. Cut a slice of tomato or cherry tomato seeds from supermarket (you don’t have to buy seeds) and put in the soil. Cover with a little more soil and water weekly. You will need a garden stake/stick to help the plant stay upright.

There supermarket vegetables to get seeds from are

  • Capsicum
  • Cucumber
  • Cut bottom off the lettuce about a thumb 👍 length above the root/base.
  • Kale
  • Radish
